What board should I purchase?

There are many variables in choosing the right board for you e.g experience, weight, height. Contact us for our expert advice.

What is my board turn around time?

Once the board is placed the lead time is 3-4 weeks. This can vary in peak periods/complexity.

Do you ship interstate/internationally?

Yes we do, we have multiple shipping partners to ensure you get your board safely and efficiently.

Interstate orders have a flat rate applied at check out, for international orders Contact us with your location to get a freight quote for international shipping. Our boards are hand packed with caution to ensure maximum protection.

What is clears sustainable practices?

Here at Clear we we minimise our impact as all our surfboards are made to order and we recycle scrap fibreglass to repair our customers boards keeping them out of land fill and giving them a second life.

How long do I need to let my board cure for?

We recommend three weeks for peace of mind. Two weeks is good, one week is okay, anything under that surf at your own risk.

Why does my board need to cure?

Letting your board cure once received ensures maximum durability.

What fin system do you recommend?

We provide all current fin systems. Due to the convenience and location our go to is Future Fins.

Do you do surfboard repairs?

Yes we repair both PE/PU & EPS/Epoxy for our local area.

Do you make EPS/Epoxy boards?

Currently we stick to the traditional construction of polyurethane cores laminated in polyester resin with timber stringers. This could be potentially be explored in the near future.

Can I update my order, if I change my mind?

If you change your mind let us know as early as possible, we can amend orders if they are still in the pre production stage. Otherwise if we have started production we do not accept refunds/changes but we will always try for the best outcome for both ends.

How do I care for my board?

Your surfboard is designed to touch three things, your body, feet and the water. Limit sun exposure when not in the water, never leave your surfboard in the car any extreme heat can cause delamination. If your board is damaged allow to dry out and bring to us immediately for repairation.
